where's daddy??

so the other day i was walking in the mall behind a complete cholo.  he had the low dickies and xxl shirt, and shaved head with prison tatson his scalp.  then on my left walking with her two year old in a stroller, this mom who looks like she hasnt slept in a month, barely put together and obviously been a single mother is saying. "wheres daddy?!?!" in the high pitched baby voice that we all think is the cutest thing in the world.  she says this thrre times then the two year old points at the cholo.  now im not surprised at all that kind of story plays out daily in los angeles.  but what really melted my heart was the bag that i didnt notice before in his left hand, which had a wedding band on it.  in his hand was a small disney bag that he had gotten before i had even started walking behind him.  the bag is tattered and worn like he had taken it the contents in and out of the bag many times.  i dont knoe about u but that screams concerned father to me. u knoe wat im talking about lik how wen ur completely worried about if something is perfect enough u constintly check on it for no reason.  i dont knoe wat was in that bag but it must hav been perfect for his baby girl.

after noticing this he surprised the hell out me he almost kneels rite infront of the stroller and his hard ass front melts away, like ice in summer heat, and he says "hi baby" in the same high pitched voice of the mother.  that is love story worth playing in ur head and heart over and over.

so this post is for all loving fathers and the mothers that dont get sleep because they are wondering about our health and well being.  we all love u and appreciate u even if we dont show it.  here is an angel to watch over us all
